THE KAVASTORI CHRONICLES
A collection of short stories sent on the Kavastori continent of Miri Erali. Although each story is unique - showcasing a different cast of characters in different locations across Kavastori - each story links closely together, detailing the tyrannical rein of the elven emperor Sohnion Silverleaf.
---
At present there are 5 stories spread over an approximate timeframe of 100 years. I may add other stories in to help flesh out the world and the timeline later on, however, these chronicles are more of a side-project than a main one (a NaNoWriMo challenge to force me to write short stories rather than huge trilogies/series where i can write as much as I want). I plan to return to Kavastori at some point, but i fear it will be the far future rather than the near. I will, of course, keep you all posted.

The stories

Stone, sword, and sacrifice
After the coronation of the new elven emperor, the Witch of the Wilds is summoned to divine the passing of his reign.
What she foresees, however, sets in motion a chain of events that will change the very face of Kavastori.

Hide and Seek and Ancient Artifacts
A simple game of hide and seek turns into a fight for the gang's survival when leader Ju finds a map to buried treasure. Will the gang be able to find unity in a time when it is difficult to know who to trust, or will greed prove the victor?

The crucible
Zugzarog "Bonebreaker" has a score to settle with the emperor. His only way to get close to the elf, however, is to win through the deadly games of the Crucible - an arena where 100 enter but only 1 leaves.

The last assassination
As Sohnion's tyrannical reign continues, a young varanusis is charged with a fateful mission: assassinate the emperor before it is too late. For a greater threat waits just beyond the horizon and if Sohnion remains on the throne, there will be no hope of victory.

Dragons, demons,
and Deals
As war begins to the south of the continent, truths are revealed and not all was as it seemed. Can the scrambled races find an answer in time, or will all be lost when dragons and demons fall from the sky?
